Description
Complete two volume set of "The Grand Prix Car", by Laurence Pomeroy, revised edition, 1954. In very good to excellent original condition. The same owner's name neatly in pen on insides of both front covers, otherwise completely unmarked, no smells, binding or water damage etc.
These were very well taken care of, the owner kept the original dust covers separately and put on a pair of plain brown paper covers which protected the book boards.
These were left in place when the original dust covers were refitted in Brodart sleeves.
Tipped in are an obituary of the author from The Autocar magazine, 1966 and an obituary of Juan Fangio from The Economist, 1995.
Includes superb fold-out drawings of most of the classic GP cars of the 1920s to 40s, and the text is packed full of information.
267 & 344 pages respectively.
These will be very carefully packed and shipped for exact cost only.
If you are the buyer, please do not pay until we have arranged shipping options and you receive my invoice.
